Call for papers: 23th International Joint Conference Central and Eastern Europe in the Changing Business Environment


We are pleased to invite you

to the Central and Eastern Europe in the Changing Business Environment conference

that will take place at VŠE on May 18-19, 2023.


Registrations are open until January 16, 2023. The conference is jointly organized by the Faculty of International Relations and the Faculty of Business Administration, Prague University of Economics and Business, and the Faculty of Commerce, the University of Economics in Bratislava. The main focus of the conference is the region of Central and Eastern Europe and its position in the global economy.


The conference topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Global Trade,
  • Global Value Chains and CEE Region,
  • International Finance,
  • Corporate Social Responsibility in International Business,
  • Sustainable Economic Development from Global Perspective,
  • Changes in International Marketing, Management, and Business Strategies,
  • Challenges in International Tourism,
  • Consumer Behavior.

Abstracts in English are to be submitted electronically on the registration page by January 16, 2023, and their length is limited to 1000 symbols.

Full papers in English (after the approval of the submitted abstract) are to be submitted by February 20, 2023. The length of each paper should not exceed either ten pages in case of one or two authors or 15 pages in case of more than two authors. The review process of each paper is double-blind, based on two reviews. Reviews will be sent to authors by March 27, 2023.

Conference proceedings will be sent for evaluation to the Web of Science (CPCI database). The authors can decide about the publication of the full paper in conference proceedings or an abstract in the book of abstracts. Papers published as abstracts can be sent for publication in scientific journals. The organizers’ reviewed journals are CEBR, Economic Review, and Studia commercialia Bratislavensia.
