FIR students won the POPAI Student Awards 2022

As part of the international POPAI DAY 2022 event, the results of the prestigious POPAI STUDENT AWARDS competition for the best in-store marketing projects in the retail market were announced. The competition exhibition and the award ceremony took place on 24 November 2022 at the O2 Universum congress centre in Prague 9.

In the category: Design of an in-store communication campaign according to the brief of T-Mobile Czech Republic (Magenta Experience Centre), the winner was a team of students from the Faculty of International Relations of the Prague University of Economics and Business, consisting of Kateřina Soukupová, Štěpán Avakyan, who called their project “Be you!”

The second place went to a team from UTB, Faculty of Multimedia Communications, and the third place went to a team of students from the University of Creative Communication.

The students worked in teams to develop a case study on the above assignment within the Retail Business course, which is provided by the Department of International Business as part of the compulsory courses of the Bachelor of International Business programme at FIR.

The POPAI STUDENT AWARD competition is part of a long-standing successful project of cooperation between POPAI CE and representatives and students of universities and secondary schools. This year, the sixteenth edition of the POPAI STUDENT AWARD competition for the best in-store communication project proposals took place, with a total of 13 teams participating.
