Best Paper Award to Laure de Batz, Ph.D., MSc and Poster by Ing. Mgr. Petr Procházka, Ph.D.: 47th European International Business Academy (EIBA) Annual Conference

It is an honor to be able to share the extraordinary success of our two assistant professors Laure de Batz, Ph.D., MSc, and Ing. Mgr. Petr Procházka, Ph.D. from the Department of International Business, Faculty of International Relations, Prague University of Economics and Business (VSE) who participated in the 47th European International Business Academy (EIBA) Annual Conference, held at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid on December 10-12, 2021.

Petr Procházka presented his latest work “Towards active participation of TNCs in tax governance? Two country-by-country reporting datasets and their limitations” during the poster session.

Laure de Batz presented her article “Financial Crime and Punishment: A Meta-Analysis” coauthored with Prof. Ing. Evžen Kočenda, M.A., Ph.D., DSc. from the Institute of Economic Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University during a session on governance and financial responsibility of MNEs, chaired by PD Dr. Jakob Müllner. The article was awarded the 2021 Best Paper Award by The Global Strategy Journal (GSJ) – published by The Strategic Management Society (SMS). Laure de Batz commented: “Thank you for the interest brought to our works and this great opportunity to improve their quality!”
