International Business Negotiation and Event Management by Mgr. Kateřina Chvátalová
On April 7th, 2022, within the course 2MO303 International Business Negotiation and Protocol, the Department of International Business organized a lecture by Mgr. Kateřina Chvátalová on the topic of Event Management within International Business Negotiation.
The lecture was held in a very interactive spirit and focused on the main factors of a successful organization of business events within the international environment. Students had the opportunity to feel the atmosphere of international conferences, handing over diplomas, signing contracts, interpreting, etc. They learned key information about social events (preparations, invitations, meeting schedules). Details focused on the habits of foreign partners when dining, a suitable menu, and dressing style were also included.
Mgr. Kateřina Chvátalová has been working in the MICE destination business for more than 15 years. She started her project management career at Liberty Incentives and Congresses, led the DMC (Destination Management Company) department at AIM Group International, and later gained additional executive experience in the field as part of the Lobkowicz Events Management sales and event team. She has organized hundreds of events and countless business and PR events. She lectures on Event Management both within the university as well as the corporate environment.
It was a lecture for students in the course 2MO303 International Business Negotiation and Protocol, which is offered as optional for all students of Czech bachelor programs at the Prague University of Economics and Business.
