The winner of the eleventh round of the competition Český VŠEVĚD is Ing. Veronika Mokrejšová, Ph.D.

The Department of International Business is pleased to share the information that our colleague Ing. Veronka Mokrejsova, Ph.D. became the winner of the eleventh week/round of the competition “Český VŠEVĚD”.

The first year of the competition “Český VŠEVĚD” takes place as a part of the event “Czech European Researchers´Night”, ie “the best popularizer of Czech science is being sought.” Prague University of Economics and Business is represented in the competition by Ing. Veronika Mokrejsova, Ph.D. from the Department of International Business, FMV, who talks about the Foodwaste project. Ing. Veronika Mokrejsova, Ph.D. focuses on the issue of food management together with her colleagues.

Did you know that about 1/3 of all food produced in the world is thrown away?

Research shows that discarded food is often considered a waste of money and it is time to change food management.

The competition takes place by voting on the Facebook event, always in threes (on Monday at 10:00 the videos are published, and until Sunday at 10:00 it is voted with “I like it” directly next to the video with the representative.)
