Participation of students of minor specialization Commercial Communication in the international competition Ad Venture
This year, students from the minor specialization Commercial Communication (2KK) taking the course 2OP540 Commercial Communications and their Effectivity have an opportunity to participate in the international competition Ad Venture, organized by edcom (European Institute for Commercial Communication Education) associated with EACA – European Association of Communication Agencies)
The aim of the competition is to create a proposal for a communication strategy for the Lipton Ice Tea brand for Generation Z. The students will compete in a total of 8 teams of three to four people, from which 4 teams will be selected in cooperation with the communication agency McCANN in December to advance to the international round. At the beginning of March next year, 10 finalists from all over Europe will be selected, from which the edcom jury will choose 3 winning teams in April. In total, 46 schools from 16 European countries are participating in the Ad Venture competition.
This gives FMV students a unique opportunity to participate in the creation of a communication strategy for a real client in an international environment with the support of experts from renowned communication agencies operating in the European market. The minor specialization Commercial Communication (2KK) is designed for students who want to gain knowledge on how to communicate with consumers in the world of mass communication and new information technologies. The individual courses (5 courses) of the minor specialization are taught by leading experts from multinational communication agencies, research organizations, industrial and commercial enterprises, the media, and professors from the Department of International Business and the Department of Law. Graduates gain advanced knowledge on modern commercial communications, enabling them to enter the industry quickly and seamlessly. The best graduates of the minor will receive a prestigious AKA (Association of Communication Agencies) certificate signed by representatives of FMV and AKA.
