Prof. Ing. Hana Machková, CSc. will Serve as a French Foreign Trade Advisor (Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur de la France)
The Department of International Business is very happy to share the information that prof. Ing. Hana Machková, CSc., vice-rector for international relations at VŠE and also a member of our department, was appointed to the position of “Personalité Experte Associée” and will serve on the advisory board of Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur de la France République Tchèque together with top managers of French companies that operate in the Czech Republic. Advisors for foreign trade are, for example, directors of the companies Bouygues, Cofidis, Equans, Forvia, Komerční banka, L’Oréal, Saint Gobain and Sanofi. The advisers are appointed by the Prime Minister of the French Republic.
France has long been one of the world’s largest exporters (in 2023 it ranked 7th in the export of goods and 6th in the export of services) thanks, among other things, to a sophisticated system of pro-export policy. One of the tools to support exports is precisely the global network of advisors for foreign trade “Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur de la France” (CCEF), in which 4,500 experts work in 150 countries around the world.
Congratulations to the professor!
