Chilean Ambassador Víctor Abujatúm and Trade Relations with Chile

The Department of International Business is pleased to share information about a lecture on trade relations with Chile, led by Ambassador Víctor Abujatúm during the Innovation Week at the Prague University of Economics. Ambassador Abujatúm was ceremoniously welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Ing. Petr Dvořák, PhD, Rector of the Prague University of Economics and Assoc. Prof. Ing. Martina Jiránková, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of International Relations.

The lecture discussed the competitive advantages of both economies and the growing mutual trade exchange and cooperation. The audience was also captivated by projects in astronomy and astrophysics, renewable energy sources, and Arctic research, which are being carried out in Chile with intensive international collaboration.

Students found the opportunities for cooperation in the form of internships or the Work&Travel program particularly interesting. The lecture was accompanied by an engaging video and images of the landscape of this beautiful country.

We extend our sincere thanks to Ambassador Abujatúm for his time and willingness. Special thanks also go to Assoc. Prof. Ing. Přemysl Průša, PhD, Head of the Department, and Ing. Eva Křenková, PhD, Deputy Head of the Department, for organizing the event.
