Department of International Business research team (dr. Eva Křenková, dr. Iveta Černá, dr. Petr Procházka) are participating in the International Visegrad Fund project “Shift to electric car production: national strategies in Central and Eastern Europe – VGI” from January 2024 until June 2025 with the lead of the Hungarian research institute HUN-REN KRTK and their member dr. Gábor Túry.
The concluding conference was held in Belgrade, Serbia on 9th May 2025, named “SHIFTing Gears: The Future of Electric Car Production in CEE Countries – VGI“. It was hosted by the local Institute of Economic Sciences, namely dr. Petar Mitić a dr. Isidora Beraha. Academicians from Poland, Serbia, Hungary and Czechia discussed the electric vehicle introduction within our region, and its challenges, barriers and options for government incentives for production or purchasing of electric vehicles.
