Last Week´s CEECBE 2025 International Conference and “Save the Date” 2026

The end of last week (Thursday and Friday, May 22 and 23, 2025) brought, already as a tradition, our international conference: 25th International Joint Conference: Central and Eastern Europe in the Changing business Environment, co-organized by

  • Prague University of Economics and Business,
    • Faculty of International Relations, Department of International Business,
    • Faculty of Business Administration, Department of Marketing and
  • Bratislava University of Economics and Business,
    • Faculty of Commerce.

On Thursday, participants had the opportunity, in addition to the welcome evening, to participate in a scientific workshop that covered two main topics:

  • How to publish in high-impact and highly-ranked international journals – dr hab. Milena Ratajczak-Mrozek, prof. UEP, Department of Business Relationships and International Marketing, Poznań University of Economics and Business, Poland.
  • The use of simulations in business research – Konstantinos Rigopoulos, PhD, Department of Economics, Democritus University of Thrace, Greece.

The actual opening of the conference took place on Friday and was followed by excellent speakers:

  • Future of Retail: Addressing Five Key Challenges – Tomáš Prouza, President at the Confederation of Commerce and Tourism of the Czech Republic. Vicepresident of the Czech Chamber of Commerce and of EuroCommerce.
  • Bridging the gap by bringing marketing and sustainability closer together – Graeme Murray, Sustainable Marketing Communications Strategist and Marketing Lecturer.
  • Challenges and Future of Human Resources in the CEE Region – Magdalena Štípková, Advisory and Development Director, MindPlexic Technologies.
