The Department of International Business is pleased to share the following news:

On 28 May 2025, the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Entrepreneurial Challenges in Central Europe: A Deep Dive into Regional Issues” officially concluded. For one week, students from three partner universities engaged in a diverse program comprising both educational and outdoor activities.

The online portion of the program took place on 9, 16, and 19 May, while the in-person component continued over several days and was held in two locations: South Moravia and Prague.

On 21 May 2025, students gathered in Břeclav at 14:00 and travelled together to Klentnice, where they were accommodated for five nights. The stay began with a welcome dinner and a social networking event.

On the morning of 22 May, students worked on their team projects, followed by visits to a local “Stonehenge” monument and a coffee museum, where they learned about the history of coffee production and trade. In the afternoon, they toured the French company SNOP, observing the production of various automobile components and gaining insights into production planning, processing, and shipment logistics. In the evening, the group returned to Klentnice.

On 23 May, the students embarked on an 18-km hike in the Pálava hills. Group project work followed in the afternoon, and in the evening, they toured Mikulov, including visits to a local church and the castle, before dining at a local restaurant.

Saturday, 24 May, began with an excursion to the “Na Turoldu” cave system in Mikulov. Afterwards, the group travelled by bus to Milovice for lunch, then walked to Pavlov, where they enjoyed lake activities such as catamaran and kayak rides.

Sunday featured another 18-km hike. Students travelled by bus to the Austrian border, where they learned about the history of the Iron Curtain. They then walked through Valtice and a nearby forest to Lednice, where they had the opportunity to visit the famous minaret.

On the morning of 26 May, the group travelled by train to Prague. In the afternoon, two seminars on financial reporting were held with Ms. Alžběta Rybáková from SKANSKA. On Tuesday, students participated in a six-hour workshop with Mr. Vostan Shishmanyan from SIRVA. Afterwards, they dedicated time to finalizing their team projects. In the evening, they visited escape rooms and attended a farewell dinner.

The program concluded on 28 May 2025 with a presentation session led by faculty member Petr Procházka, followed by program evaluation and the awarding of certificates.

The entire program was conceptualized and implemented by a member of the Department of International Business, with key contributions from Petr Procházka, Adéla Ligocká, Nikol Machová, Jana Krebsová, and Vladislava Černá. The initiative was fully supported by the management of the Faculty of International Relations.

We extend our sincere thanks to our partner universities – Gál Férenc University, Vilniaus Kolegija, and Matej Bel University – for their smooth and effective cooperation.
