Scientific Business Hackathon in Hungary Successfully Concluded

The Department of International Business is pleased to share that from 3 to 8 December 2025, five students from the Faculty of International Relations travelled to south-eastern Hungary, where they joined four students from Gál Ferenc University. Under the guidance of one of our colleagues, they worked on laying the foundation for a future scientific paper. The intensive program included developing a questionnaire, translating it into the required languages, and drafting one of the sections of the future paper.

The students arrived in Békéscaba on the evening of Wednesday, 3 December. Before reaching their destination, they had to change train stations in Budapest, which gave them a few hours to explore the Hungarian capital and enjoy the Christmas market. On Saturday, 6 December, they moved to Szeged, where the partner university’s main campus is located, and spent one night there. The program concluded on Monday morning in Békéscaba. They returned to Prague at 23:00.

We would like to thank Gál Ferenc University for hosting our students and providing them with numerous valuable services at no charge.
