51st EIBA (European International Business Academy) Annual Conference
Members and PhD students of the Department of International Business traditionally participated in the 51st Annual EIBA Conference, hosted by the University of Piraeus in Athens from 11 to 14 December.
The conference, held under the theme “The Myth of Harmony! Strategic Realities in IB Practices,” took place in a large-scale format and brought together nearly 700 scholars from across Europe as well as from Australia, the United States, Israel, Brazil, India, Japan, and other non-European countries.
The Czech Republic was represented by a total of five members and PhD students from the Department of International Business.
Dr. Yadira Ixchel Martínez Pantoja presented a poster entitled:
“Contribution of Country of Origin to Luxury Makeup Brand Image Evaluation.”
PhD students supervised by doc. Ing. Zuzana Křečková Kroupová, M.A., Ph.D. (Ing. Daniela Zachová and Ing. Bianka Žáková, M.A.) presented the progress of their research in the form of “posters” and “an interactive paper”.

The conference was also attended by doc. Ing. Přemysl Průša, Ph.D., who represents the Czech Republic and the Faculty of International Relations on the EIBA Board.
Throughout the conference, international academic networks were further strengthened, paving the way for deeper cooperation between the Faculty of International Relations and other EIBA members in the areas of research, joint publications, workshops, and summer schools.
