Successful Third Edition of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP): Contemporary Issues in Selected Business Operations
The Department of International Business is pleased to share that the third edition of the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Contemporary Issues in Selected Business Operations”, hosted by the Faculty of International Relations and organised by the Department of International Business, has been successfully completed.
The programme consisted of a virtual component held from 16 February to 1 March 2026, followed by a physical mobility week from 2 to 6 March 2026. During this period, 16 students collaborated in international teams, participated in virtual lectures and on-site seminars, and worked on practical case studies focused on current challenges in business operations. The final evaluations were conducted by Ms. Monica Horja and Mr. Petr Procházka. Mr. Procházka also contributed to the programme by delivering several lectures and seminars.

- University of Applied Sciences in Elbląg
- “Dimitrie Cantemir” University of Târgu-Mureș
- Varna University of Management
The programme was enriched by guest seminars delivered by external experts. Mr. Jaroslav Zelinka presented a seminar on customs clearance procedures, providing practical insights into international trade processes. Mr. Emil Velinov conducted a seminar focused on financial reporting, highlighting current practices and challenges in the field.
On 5 March 2026, the students also participated in an excursion to the company Eurowag, where four employees introduced them to the company’s operations, with a special contribution from Mr. Sebastián Šíl. During the visit, students became familiar with modern freight transport management and current trends in the transition to sustainable energy solutions in the transport sector.
Furthermore, students were invited to several dinners and social events.
In addition, several other students joined selected parts of the programme, including two students from France, one student from Mexico and one student from the Czech Republic.
The successful completion of the third edition once again confirmed the value of international cooperation, interdisciplinary learning and the exchange of professional experience within the Erasmus+ framework.
