Innovation Week Study Trip to the Port of Gdynia
The Department of International Business has the pleasure to share that the second edition of the study trip to the port of Gdynia, organised by our department, at the Faculty of International Relations within the framework of Innovation Week at the Prague University of Economics and Business, took place from 7 to 9 April 2026. The excursion was attended by 12 students accompanied by one representative of the department.
The group departed in the early morning of 7 April 2026, travelling by plane to Gdańsk. Upon arrival, students explored the city, gaining valuable insights into its historical development and economic importance.
On 8 April, the programme focused on professional and regional visits. The group visited the Port of Gdynia, where they were welcomed by Ewelina Ziajka, Senior Key Account Specialist from the Strategy and Market Analysis Office, who delivered an engaging and informative presentation on port operations and its role in international trade. Later that day, the students continued to Hel, where they observed the coastal environment and discussed the geographical and logistical relevance of the region.
The trip concluded on 9 April 2026 with the group’s return home. Overall, the excursion provided participants with practical knowledge and firsthand experience, effectively complementing their academic studies in international business.
