I-WEEK 2025
In January 2024, the 9th International Week took place, which was again organized under the auspices of the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics. The Faculty of International Relations and the Faculty of Finance and Accounting also participated in the event. A total of nine intensive courses were held over three days, offering students new information and perspectives on various topics. The classes took place from Monday, January 20, to Wednesday, January 22, and the entire event ended with a farewell to the visiting professors on Thursday, January 23.
I-Week courses differ from classic lectures mainly in their teaching style. Students choose one of the intensive courses from the I-WEEK offer and, upon successful passing of the exam, receive 3 ECTS credits. This year, they could choose from the courses Digital Marketing in an International Environment, Strategic Management and Business Models of Innovation, and Leadership and Change Management, offered by the Faculty of International Relations.
This year’s course welcomed a friendly group of professors from various countries, including the USA, Chile, Taiwan, India, the UK, Germany, and Poland. Students who had the opportunity to use their language skills in professional topics rated the teaching very positively. This year’s I-Week attracted 320 students, which is an upward trend compared to last year, when 187 students chose one of the intensive courses. New courses for the next I-WEEK will be announced in June 2025.
