2MO500 Business Project Course: Final Presentation of Our Students

In the previous semester, within the course 2MO500 Business Project, our students worked on a project assigned by a corporate partner of the Department of International Business. This time, a 4-member team proposed a strategy of entering the Czech market in specific segments (gluten-free pastries, vegan, etc.) for the family bakery Harmonia (Fine Bakery s.r.o.) from Slovakia.

“We would like to thank the Prague University of Economics and Business, Department of International Business, for a fruitful project in which students developed a strategy for our company to enter the Czech market. They came up with a detailed mapping of the competitive environment and designed distribution, logistics and marketing channels. We received a lot of useful ideas on how to change the range of our products according to the latest food trends in the Czech Republic and what to focus on in the marketing area. It was amazing to see how theoretical knowledge and practice were connected. I dare to say that this project was a benefit for both parties” stated Diana Polomská from Fine Bakery s.r.o.

The Business Project course is part of the minor specialisation International Finance and Business, prepared by the Department of International Business.
