Lecture on Preparation for and Planning of a Job Interview

On April 13th and 28th 2022, the Department of International Business organized lectures by a team of experts from Penny Market s.r.o. on the topic of recruitment and employment.

The team consisted of Olga Falbr, regional HR manager, who is in charge of support for stores and regional managers, Lucie Nováková and Kateřina Kotrcová, recruitment specialists in charge of both, recruitment at headquarters and in-store advertising, supporting regional HR partners and HR marketing and Tereza Šulcová, assistant and support to the head of the HR department, in charge of the hiring process in cooperation with agencies and companies.

The lecture took place in a very interactive spirit. The main factors of successful recruitment were explored. Students appreciated especially shared “best practices” and the opportunity to gain their own valuable experience.

The lectures took place within the courses 2MO303 International Business Negotiations and Protocol, which is offered as optional for all students of Czech bachelor programs at the Prague University of Economics and Business and 2IBQ02 Principles of Management.
