One-third of the classes of the 2MO446 Food waste management course is enriched by the lectures by quest speakers – experts in food waste issues. That is why Mgr. Veronika Láchová, the director of the Czech Federation of Food Banks, could not be missing. Linked to the success of the innovation week, the Departmet of International Business organized her speech on November 16th, 2022 in the form of an excursion into the logistics centre of Food Banks in Prague – Dubeč.
Although the students had to get up early, as the programme began at eight o´clock in the morning, far from the Prague city centre, they have not regretted coming. The programme was worth it! Every participant rated the visit five stars out of five in the feedback. The students appreciated the possibility of helping sort food most of all.
