Guest Lecture on Financing Business Operations and Employee Benefits in a Company by Ina Löffelmann
On May 2, 2023, the Department of International Business was delighted to welcome the consultant Ina Löffelmann from OVB ALLFINANZ in the seminar taught by Ing. Mgr. Petr Procházka, Ph.D. within the course 2MO302 International Business Operations. The lecture focused on the topic of Financing business operations and employee benefits in a company. Ina Löffelmann has been managing private and corporate client portfolios under the ProfiFP concept for 12 years. She manages around 300 clients directly and has about 1,500 clients under her supervision within her team. She recently earned an academic degree of Master of Financial Planning and was promoted to the position of Area Head as of March 2023.
With the students, Ina Löffelmann discussed financing options for business operations, different types of loans, and their application. In the second part of her lecture, she addressed employee benefits and the possibility of tax deductions or government contributions. She engaged the students in numerous examples. Finally, she answered questions from the students – many of which were directed at the financial advisory field or our guest’s career path.
2MO302 International Business Operations is a practically oriented compulsory course for students of the Bachelor programme – International Business, guaranteed by doc. Ing. Alexej Sato, CSc. Students cover all topics relevant to an international contract for the sale of goods (price, subject of the sale, payment terms, delivery terms, transport mode, customs clearance, insurance, etc.) and also discover the role of a trading company as a middleman in international business.
