Invitation to Participate in the Second VŠE’s BIP
From March 4 to March 8, 2024, the Department of International Business of the Faculty of International Relations of the Prague University of Economics and Business will organize its first blended intensive program (BIP). This will be the second BIP the University has ever organized.
Under the current program, students from three foreign universities will arrive in Prague with their professors to study a 4 ETCS course, “Contemporary Issues in Selected Business Operations” (2IB355). This is the extension of a traditional VŠE’s course named “International Business Operations”. In the BIP´s course, three chosen topics will be investigated in more detail: International Shipping, Customs Clearance, and Financial Reporting of International Business Operations. A part of the course will be in virtual form, represented by 10 hours of lectures on 19 and 26 February 2024.
The offered course will be rich in new information as experts from practice will mainly teach it. The BIP will also include an excursion to the Metrans intermodal terminal and several social activities. The BIP is free of charge and up to five faculty students with at least the B2 level of English can also register until late January 2024.
