The 50th Anniversary Conference of the EIBA (European International Business Academy): Rethinking IB Research for the Next 50 Years
The Department of International Business is pleased to share the information that our colleagues participated in the 50th Annual EIBA Conference hosted by Aalto University in Helsinki (Espoo) on 12-14 December 2024.
The conference with the topic: Rethinking IB Research for the Next 50 Years was traditionally held in a large format and was attended by a total of approx. 650 scientists mainly from Europe, and also from Australia, USA, Brazil, India and other countries outside Europe.
The Czech Republic was represented at the conference by the total of 7 members and doctoral students of the Department of International Business, most of whom contributed to the conference:

Andrea Escobar Rios, Yadira Ixchel Martínez Pantoja, Rafael San José Iglesias: Stakeholders and Instruments for Nation Brand Creation: Shaping Perceptions and Attitudes Toward Mexican Culture
PhD students supervised by doc. Ing. Zuzana Křečková Kroupová M.A., Ph.D. (Ing. Daniela Zachová and Ing. Mark Mishcheniuk presented the course of their research in the “poster session”).
The conference was also attended by doc. Ing. Přemysl Průša, Ph.D., who represents the Czech Republic and FMV on the EIBA (European International Business Academy) board.
During the conference, international contacts were further deepened, which will lead to deeper cooperation between FIR and other EIBA members in the field of research, science, organization of workshops and summer schools. Potentially, the organization of a summer school and workshops for selected EIBA members at the FMV in 2025 and beyond is planned.
