The success of students of the Commercial Communication minor: POPAI Student Awards 2024

The Department of International Business is happy to share the information that as part of the program of the POPAI DAY 2024 international event, the results of the prestigious POPAI AWARDS competition for the best realizations on the retail market as part of In-store marketing have been announced. The competition exhibition and the presentation of prizes to the winners took place on Thursday, November 28, 2024 in the premises of the O2 universum congress center in Prague 9.

In the category: proposal of an In-store communication campaign for the product Desperados according to the brief of Heineken Česká republika, a.s. the winner was:

 

student Václav Pavlů from the Faculty of International Relations, Prague University of Economics and Business, who submitted a project called Release Your Inner Desperados – An Eco-friendly Devil for his team.

Another team from the Faculty of International Relations, composed of Anna Vshivtseva, Dominik Vlach, Ondřej Slivka, Petra Lukůvková, won the third place.

In teams, students worked on a case study for the above-mentioned assignment as part of the subject Brand Management and Account Management, which is taught as part of the minor specialization Commercial Communication at the Department of International Business, Faculty of International Relations.

A total of 16 teams from six schools and universities took part in the competition.

The POPAI STUDENT AWARD competition is part of a long-term successful cooperation project of the POPAI CE association with representatives and students of universities and secondary schools. This year was the 18th year of this competition.
