Škoda Auto in the International Marketing Course: Top Team Presentations

In the winter semester of 2024/2025, the successful collaboration with Škoda Auto continued in the International Marketing course (2MO401/2MO431). Throughout the semester, students worked in teams on projects assigned by Škoda Auto. They could choose from a variety of topics, including “Customer experience,” “Brand concept store,” marketing strategies targeting younger generations, and proposals for entering new markets such as Uzbekistan or India.

On January 9, 2025, the top five teams (out of more than 30 comprising 157 students) were invited to present their work. These presentations were delivered not only to fellow students and course instructors but also to Škoda Auto’s management. The presenting groups received valuable feedback and insights from Ing. Martin Jahn (Member of the Board of Škoda Auto) and other representatives from the International sales management, Marketing Czech Republic and Global marketing department.

The presentations of the top projects took place at Škoda Auto’s offices in Prague. Students showcased their ability to work in international teams, conduct extensive market research, and deliver innovative ideas. According to Škoda Auto representatives, many of these ideas have strong potential for practical application.

In addition to constructive feedback, the best teams were awarded certificates and gifts from Škoda Auto a.s.

Students can look forward to more exciting projects prepared by Škoda Auto’s marketing department in the summer semester of 2024/2025.

The International Marketing course (2MO401) is a mandatory course within the International Trade study program and the minor specialization “International Business Strategies” (under the code 2MO521). Seminars are taught in English in mixed groups of Czech and international students (code 2MO432). A key component of the course is always a team project developed in collaboration with a corporate partner, addressing real-world business challenges.
