Evening Business Challenge + Full-Day Trip (II)

We have the pleasure to share that the event titled “Evening Business Challenge + Full-Day Trip (II) organised on November 5-6, 2025, with the support of the Faculty of International Relations successfully followed the concept introduced last year while featuring new program and included two additional universities: Gál Férenc University, which sent three students (out of a total of 15 participants), and Matej Bel University, which was represented by two students and two professors.

Students gathered in Frýdek-Místek on November 5, 2025, at 11:00 to begin the experience. After enjoying lunch on the main Frýdek square, they departed for Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech – the only Hyundai production plant located within the European Union.

At the plant, the 15 students were welcomed by Kateřina Bednáriková, the PR specialist, and divided into three teams. Following this, students were presented with business challenges prepared by three Hyundai managers. At around 15:15, the afternoon program paused for a guided tour of the company’s production facilities, where students received a detailed explanation of the manufacturing processes. The business challenge concluded shortly before 19:00. The winning team received a prize.

Following the event, the students walked approximately 4 km to a bus stop and then continued to the Hotel Travný, where they spent the night and enjoyed a delicious dinner.

The second day was devoted to a full-day trip along the Czech-Slovak border (23,5 km). At around 12:15, the group gathered for a traditional campfire, roasting sausages, wursts, and other foods such as tofu. Later in the afternoon, they visited the historic fortification Velká Šance. In the evening, the students departed by train to return home.
