Exceptional Master´s Study Programme Student Achievement: Bc. Kristián Keder
Department of International Business has the pleasure to share the news about an exceptional achievement of Bc. Kristián Keder, who is currently finishing his master’s degree in International Economic Relations.
Bc. Kristián Keder has achieved unprecedented success in the Czech scientific environment: he is the co-author of a scientific text published last week in an international scientific journal with an assigned impact factor.
The given text, which was written in cooperation with the Department of International Business and the Department of Statistics and Probability published by the Dutch Journal of World Trade published since 1967, deals with the question of the impact of the effectiveness of the so-called Trade Facilitation Agreement on the business sector. The agreement in question was initiated by the World Trade Organization at the end of the last century, but it has only been in force since 2017, while its real impact on companies has not yet been examined.
Bc. Kristián Keder participated not only in the preparation of the text but also in its subsequent adjustments, and thus greatly contributed to the fact that the text was finally published. The student himself stated the following about his success: “I have to admit that I have not experienced such success during my studies at the Prague University of Economics and Business and I appreciate it very much. Many thanks go also to the co-authors who were willing to cooperate in researching the given issue and who supported me during the writing of the scientific text. I believe that the result of our work will be an inspiration for other experts in the field of international trade and will contribute to the effort to deepen this field in the future.”
We congratulate!
The Department of International Business irregularly announces the opportunity for students to participate in writing scientific texts. At the moment, it is again possible to apply for this activity. For more information, please, use the email contact: vit.hincica@vse.cz.
