New Monograph by Jitka Volfová: Sustainability and People in International Management – 21st Century Challenges
We are pleased to share the news that the monograph written by our colleague Dr. Jitka Volfová, titled Sustainability and People in International Management – 21st Century Challenges, has been published.
This monograph describes new research findings on chosen International Management challenges connected to Human Resources and Sustainable Work Environment in the 21st century. It mentions best practices for managers and leaders who can get inspired when creating a sustainable working environment, treating people in organisations sustainably, and being ready to report on it. Just as we invest in and care for natural resources, it is crucial to care about human resources responsibly.
In her recommendation regarding the intended audience of the book, the author states: “Have you ever pondered, questioned, or been intrigued by any of the following questions? If so, this book is tailored for you. What can we imagine under sustainable human resources, a sustainable work environment, and how to report about such a concept? How do we
create a harmonious cross-cultural environment? What is the secret of a telework system that benefits employees and the company? How is telework connected to work-life balance, mental health (well-being), and the current labour market needs? How do we support
employee well-being? This book targets everyone interested in current international management issues connected to sustainability and people in organisations, focusing on cultural diversity, well-being (telework and work-life balance, including mental health), and sustainable reporting connected to the “Social” factor. It suits experts and laypeople, can serve as study material for university students, and as a practical handbook for practitioners. It covers key findings usable for managers, leaders, and individual employees.”
Congratulations on this publication.
