Students of the minor specialization International Finance and Business prepared a business project for E.ON

As part of the minor specialization in International Finance and Business, which is prepared by FMV in cooperation with FFÚ, students every semester complete the practical course 2MO500 Business Project.

In the course, students develop a team project assigned by a specific company under the guidance of academic and corporate tutors. The course is then concluded by defending the project in the form of a presentation to the representatives of the contracting company and a committee composed of academics.

In the summer semester, the project was assigned by E.ON, which is also a faculty corporate partner. The work was focused mainly on the communication strategy and building Employer Branding on the newly created Instagram account of the company. The final presentation, as well as consultations throughout the semester, took place online via the Microsoft Teams application, which was an interesting and new experience for both students and the company.

“The students were enthusiastic about the project and E.ON was very pleased with the results, as they really intend to use students’ proposals in practice,” says the head of the Department of International Business, Petr Král.

“We especially appreciated the practical use of our theoretical knowledge and the establishment of contacts with one of the largest energy players on the market,” adds the student team consisting of Alena Drozdová, Nina Gáliková, Marek Kempný and Karolína Štěpánková.
