Lecture by jan Sochor on “Leading People across Central and Eastern Europe”

On May 5, 2021, within the course 2OP405 International Management – in English, the Department of International Business was pleased to host an online lecture by Jan Sochor, MBA, the General Manager, Managing Director – Eastern Europe at PUMA Group. 

During his lecture on “Leading People across Central and Eastern Europe”, Mr. Jan Sochor, MBA shared with students his many years of experience in leading people in Central and Eastern Europe, including cultural specifics of motivation, remuneration, employee selection and career plans of individual markets.

The course International Management – in English (2OP405) is a compulsory course within the minor specialization International Business Strategies and an optional course for all VSE (Prague University of Economics and Business) students. The seminars are taught in English in culturally mixed and gender-balanced teams of students who work together on several sub-tasks and a term project.
