Pilsner Urquell in the Course International Marketing Communications

Students of International Marketing Communication courses (2MO403/2MO506) can look forward to the assignment of a project in cooperation with Pilsner Urquell also this semester (WS2022/2023).

Regular cooperation on various projects with Pilsner Urquell has been active on a semestral basis since 2017. Also in the previous semester SS 2021/2022, the three best teams presented their projects to the company representatives: Kristýna Tereková (Senior Brand Manager Pilsner Urquell) and Lucie Pazderská (Senior Brand Manager Velkopopovický Kozel). The three best teams (consisting of: Alina Kostiuchenko, Ekaterina Rumiantceva, Aimeerim Abdukadyrova, Michela Hofmanová, Valerio Perugia, Lukáš Kern, Yuliya Suprun, Martin Bok, Viktorie Valdová, Sophie Dutour, Megi Domi, David Voracek) were selected in a strong competition of student teams, which worked on the same assignment.

In the courses of International Marketing Communications (2MO403/2MO506), projects assigned by companies build a standard part of students’ work in each semester. Students work in international teams. During the semester, students can consult their projects with teachers (Ing. Petr. Král, Ph.D. and Andrea Escobar Rios, Doctora en Ciencias) as well as with the company representatives. An individual “feedback session” is also included in the seventh week of classes. At the end of the semester, the best teams present their projects. The best teams receive diplomas and additional gifts from the company.

In the past, projects were assigned, for example, by Škoda Auto and the Czech Association for Rare Diseases (Českou asociací pro vzácná onemocnění). The course is taught in English in mixed groups of Czech and foreign students. In addition to practical experience with a specific real project, students gain experience working in an international team.
