Škoda Auto – Best team presentations in the International Marketing course

The successful cooperation with the company Škoda Auto a.s. within the course International Marketing (2MO401/2MO431) continued in the winter semester of 2023. Students worked throughout the semester in teams on projects assigned by Škoda Auto supervised by the course lecturers.

Students could choose from project assignments on various topics connected not only to the Czech market but also e.g. to creating strategies for entering new markets or improving existing strategies for specific foreign markets.  Students also received feedback from Škoda Auto specialists on their topics during the Innovation Week.

The best teams were invited to present the results of their work on January 9th, 2024, to the teachers of the course, Ing. Peter Král, Ph.D., Ing. Květa Olšanová, Ph.D., Ing. Markéta Lhotáková, Ph.D. and Andrea Escobar Ríos, Doctora en Ciencias and also to the representatives of Škoda Auto.

From Škoda Auto we would like to thank Petr Janeba, Libor Šedivák, Pavlína Kolocová, Kateřina Cermanová, Ivanna Němcová, Renata Krejčíková, Ladislav Tichý and Filip Keresteš for their cooperation.

Presentations of the best projects took place on the premises of Škoda Auto in Prague. The students demonstrated the ability to work in international teams, conduct extensive market research and bring interesting ideas, many of which, according to Škoda Auto representatives, will definitely be usable in practice.

The winning teams consisted of the following students: Amaury Devreese, Marina Apostol, Lenka Čeligová, Jan Rutrle, Barbora Halounková, Dan Audrlický, Enya Samirah Eggenberger, Natali Slavin, Kristián Tomčo, Tereza Bártová, Mathilde Gauvrit, Nathalie Klimentová, Eliška Leissnerová, David Kopecký, Tomáš Ondráček, Tomáš Kučera, Nela Köszegi, Laura Falcetti, Laurine Pajot, Veronika Štěpánková a Anna Štofková. In addition to helpful feedback, they also received gifts and diplomas from the company Škoda Auto.

In the summer semester of 2024, students can look forward to more interesting projects prepared by Škoda Auto.

The course International Marketing (2MO401) is a compulsory course within the study program International Trade and the minor specialization International Business Strategies (under the ident 2MO521). Seminars are taught in English in mixed groups of Czech and international students. An important part of the course is always a team project developed in cooperation with a corporate partner, in which students solve a real task from a business environment.
